Rewards

After defeating Phantom Amdarais, a treasure chest NPC spawns in the middle. The amount of rewards scales with difficulty level.

Rewards are used to obtain cards, weapons, headgears and enchant the headgears

Difficulty Level

Old Glast Heim Challenge Mode has a selectable difficulty system where you can unlock stronger versions of the instance after completing an easier version of the instance.

The higher difficulty level will do the following:

  • Scale all monsters damage by (Damage * Difficulty Level)
  • Scale Phantom Amdarais HP by (450,000,000 + [150,000,000 * Difficulty Level])
  • Increase rewards

Guide

Glast Heim Challenger is a straight foward instance therefore we have only a few steps to complete it:

  1. Talk to the Warper NPC in Prontera and select the Glast Heim Challenger instance.
  2. Talk To Oscar to generate and enter the instance.
  3. When inside talk again to Oscar and go either to the right portal or the left portal in the hallway.
  4. After selecting a side, your task is to kill every single mob on that room!
  5. Once you clear both sides return to the hallway and go up.
  6. Talk to Oscar and enter the Boss room.
  7. Make your way through any mobs and go to the upper part of the room.
  8. Talk to the NPC.
  9. Good Luck!
  Notice the monster countdown menssage on the chat, it shows how many monsters are left in each room .

If you gain Mettle, Magic Essence, Acute, Master Archer, Adamantine or Affection on the third enchant. It can be upgraded, quite similar to Bio5 headgear enchantment.

  • If success. The enchant level will be upgraded by 1 level (ex. lv 4 > lv 5).
  • If fail. The enchant level will be downgraded by 1 level (ex. lv 4 > lv 3).
  • Failure on upgrading level 1 enchant just lost enchant material. Enchant still be on level 1.
  • Maximum level of enchantment is 10.

Reseting

  • Enchantment can be reset.
  • Reset with 500k zeny.
  • Headgear must have at least 1 enchant attached to be reset.
